Summer is here! The sun is shining and it is the perfect opportunity for a new adventure. Are you looking for a new date night or a fun activity to do with family and friends? Look no further! Have fun in the sun and try out one of these events near you for your next outing! 

Pride Comedy!
  • When: June 18th, 6:00PM
  • Where: The Laugh Cellar, Kenwood
  • Price: $28-$35
  • Description: Celebrate PRIDE Month with big wine, big laughs and with headliner Jason Stuart!

Chocolate and Chalk Festival 
  • When: June 19th, 10:00AM-4:00PM
  • Where: North Shattuck Avenue, North Berkeley 
  • Price: Free
  • Description: Come chalk the town by joining the Chocolate and chalk festival on the streets of Shattuck and Cedar. The event is free and the first 25 people to register will be given a free box of chalk. Additionally, local businesses will be offering special treats and gifts for sale. Chalk the town and enjoy a fun and creative day with family and friends!

Oddities and Curiosity Market
  • When: June 19th, 11:00AM-7:00PM
  • Where: 1445 Webster Street, Alameda: al Fresco Dining Park & Webster Parklets between Taylor & Haight
  • Price: Free
  • Description: Discover uniquely odd and obscure one-of-a-kind treasures in art photography clothing taxidermy medical & natural history antiques furnishings jewelry memento mori faux taxidermy Victorian mourning jewelry mysticism and the occult. Enjoy food from the many nearby restaurants with a full bar by the Fireside Lounge and music while they shop.

Craneway Craft Fair
  • When: June 26th-June 27th, 11:00AM-5:00PM
  • Where: Pier 70, San Francisco
  • Price: Free
  • Description: Come check out an outdoor craft fair experience. Peruse high quality, handmade goods from your favorite California artists and craftspeople. 

Forest Therapy
  • When: June 26th 9:30AM-12:30PM or 2:00PM-5:00PM
  • Where: Sugarloaf Ridge State Park, Kenwood
  • Price: Free-$20
  • Description: Have you heard about Shinrin-yoku or “forest bathing”? A centering and calming restorative practice, it promotes balance and restored vitality through a quality of presence and heightened sensory awareness. Learn techniques to maximize the health benefits and stress-reducing qualities of this walking practice, which originated in Japan and is gaining popularity in the United States for its documented health benefits.

Lavender U-Cut Experience
  • When: June 26th-June 27th and July 10th-July 11th, 10:00AM-4:00PM
  • Where: Bees and Blooms, Santa Rosa
  • Price: $5
  • Description: Come on out and harvest your own lavender, breathe in the country fresh air scented with lavender, and soak in the sun and the breeze. Take advantage of fantastic photo opportunities in the lavender field.

Art Exhibit: Summer’s Bounty
  • When: May 31st-June 27th, 11:00AM-6:00PM
  • Where: 306 Center Street, Healdsburg CA 95448  
  • (inside Levin & Co. Bookstore – upstairs)
  • Price: Free
  • Description: Sonoma County artist, Laura Roney, presents Summer’s Bounty, a collection of oil paintings that celebrate the seasonal transformation as flowers blossom to create their fruit. 

Sundaze Brunch and Marketplace
  • When: Every Sunday, 11:00AM-4:00PM
  • Where: District Six, 428 11th Street, San Francisco, CA 94103
  • Price: Free-$175
  • Description: The Sundaze Brunch and Marketplace is an outdoor experience that brings individuals safely together to enjoy a curated selection of local small good vendors and food trucks. Additionally, it also features weekly themes and live entertainment such as local DJs or bands. This marketplace is free to attend. However, if you’re looking to participate with a group consider booking a table that is available for sale!

Wine and Sunsets 
  • When: Every Wednesday evening from June 2nd-October 27th, 5:00PM
  • Where: Paradise Ridge Winery, Santa Rosa
  • Price: $10-$20
  • Description: Try and purchase artisan wines from Rockpile & the Russian River Valley while enjoying gourmet local food trucks, live music, and fantastic wine country sunsets!
