Prime Contractor for Santa Clara Valley Water District
PsiNapse was selected as the Prime Contractor for the Santa Clara Valley Water District (SCVWD) PeopleSoft Upgrade Assessment in 2015. As the prime contractor, we were charged with sourcing and deploying an entire team to manage complete scope of work. Our project team included a Project Manager, Application Functional Consultants and Technical Consultants. PsiNapse and the PsiNapse/PeopleSoft team successfully delivered the project on time and under budget to SCVWD.
Managing this complex system upgrade assessment required specialized technology expertise, experienced project management, and effective communication between multiple teams and departments. PsiNapse kicked off the SCVWD project with in-depth technical and functional requirements analysis, determining PeopleSoft Business Requirements by functional area and determining and mapping Technical System Requirements. We provided Fit/Gap Analysis on requirements compared to the upgraded version, delivered recommendations and upgrade strategy, and a best-approach implementation plan.
Based on our success of the initial project specification, PsiNapse’s engagement was extended to further develop and customize architecture diagrams to provide multiple possible implementation footprints. We are proud to have successfully delivered a robust, ready-to-implement plan to the Santa Clara Valley Water District and play a part in Silicon Valley’s utilities infrastructure.
