BBQ’s, Fireworks and Parades (oh my)! Happy Fourth of July Weekend! This weekend is a wonderful opportunity to (safely) get together with family and friends and enjoy the warm weather. As the east bay continues to open, here are some fun activities and recipes for you, your family and friends to enjoy.

Freedom Fest
When: July 4th at 3:00PM
Where: 6500 Condit Rd. Located between Tennant and East Dunne Ave, Morgan Hill
Description: Come out for food trucks, drinks, activities and live music!
Price: $10 for parking
Ol’ Fashioned Parade and Coastwide Rising Music Festival
When: July 4th at 11:00AM
Where: 500 Main Street, Half Moon Bay, CA, 94019
Description: Celebrate with a street festival, live music, food trucks, beer, wine, cocktails, Kidz Fab Funzone, performances.

Rose, White and Blue Party and Car Show

Thrive City Block Party

Description: The Golden State Warriors will host the Thrive City Block Party presented by Chase. Enjoy two full days of live entertainment including a band and DJ, local food vendors, beer gardens, and family-friendly activations, including a kids’ zone and an NBA 2K Gaming Zone.

Walnut Creek Parkoncert

Description: Walnut Creek Concert Band at Civic Park in Downtown WC. 6pm. Bring your family and friends, have picnic and enjoy the sounds of your Walnut Creek Concert Band as we celebrate America!

Firework Shows!
Looking for a festive Firework show to enjoy? Look no further!
Concord Firework Show: Load up your family and friends in your car and join us at the Concord Pavilion for the largest Fireworks Display ever seen in Concord presented by Marathon Petroleum. Tickets for Concord Residents will go on sales starting Saturday May 29, 2021 at 12:00 PM, and General Tickets will go on sale starting June 4th, 2021 at 12:00 PM. Tickets are $25 per vehicle. On the day of the event, gates will open at 7:00 pm and Fireworks will begin at dark.
Freedom Fest: Parking is a modest $10 to help pay for the LARGEST land based fireworks show in Northern California and you can sit just yards away from where they are being shot off! The show beings at 9:45.
Hometown Fourth of July: This year Sonoma’s Independence Day celebration includes a higher aerial display, encouraging viewers to watch from home or from a distance. At dusk, shift your eyes to the skies for the spectacular fireworks show that lasts approximately 45 minutes.
Pleasant Hill Celebration: Enjoy the show beginning at 9:15PM from the comfort of your own home or check out a secluded spot near College Park High!
