Happy Administration Appreciation Day! Today is a day to send a little extra appreciation to your hard-working admins. Admins are essential in the workplace. They streamline your organizations processes and provide aid in numerous positions throughout your organization. Moreover, many admins help with onboarding, scheduling appointments, and planning extracurricular work events to encourage networking and team cohesion. Consider taking a moment today and reflecting on all the amazing projects and tasks your admin does everyday to make your day easier. Then consider doing something a little extra special to help show your appreciation to your admin.
4 Ways to Show Your Appreciation to Your Admin
Give a Thank You
Whether it is in a meeting with your whole team, a handwritten card, e-card or email, it is a great way to verbalize how much you appreciate their hard work. One of my personal favorites is to use a GroupGreeting e-card. GroupGreeting, allows you to send a link where all employees can sign. Then you can set a time and date for the card to be sent to the recipient. It is a great way to get everyone involved and show their appreciation for their admin.
Gift Basket
A gift basket is a great way to gather your admins favorite items and appreciation and care. Some great additions to a gift basket, are personalized office supplies. Consider adding personalized notebooks, pens, or mugs. Another great idea is a gift card to their favorite coffee/tea café.
Host a Lunch
Whether it is a potluck, team lunch, or going out to lunch it is a great way to get together and celebrate!
Support a Charity of Their Choice
If you have the budget, consider providing a funded donation to a charity that means the most to your admin. If not, consider doing a half-day community service event with your team to the charity of your admins choosing. It can be a great way to show your appreciation and give back.
Celebrating your employees is a great way to show your appreciation and recognition of the work they do. Consider showing your admins a little additional appreciation today!
