Keeping Quality High While Gaming Business Booms
PsiNapse staffed and managed Quality Assurance and gaming professionals at SEGA, the industry leader in console entertainment. When SEGA’s gaming business boomed in the 90’s, PsiNapse responded rapidly, placing as many as 100 consultants at SEGA’s San Francisco location.
To continuously fulfill on high volume orders for experienced gaming talent, PsiNapse maintained a proprietary database of carefully screened professionals that met SEGA’s core competencies requirements. Our Staffing Managers constantly identified and assessed candidates for the appropriate profile, aptitude, and cultural fit to compliment SEGA’s environment and prerequisites. These proactive strategies enabled PsiNapse to maintain 100% Fill Ratios and 100% Quality Performance even while SEGA was undergoing extraordinary growth.
We delivered a high-touch approach for SEGA, traveling into San Francisco bi-weekly for onsite customer service visits to engage face-to-face, answer questions, and deliver paychecks. We met monthly with department and hiring managers to set schedules, plan new intake, gauge overall performance of the program and employees, and deal with any performance or delivery issues.
As SEGA’s staffing partner, we went further than a regular staffing vendor, with custom-tailored internal processes, extended office hours, and performance improvement plans. We managed the our client through the complex San Francisco ordinances for all contract personnel, to ensure compliance and lowered liability to SEGA.
